Elemental[]

Lightning[]

Once you build up enough lightning damage, stun for a round and decrease total stun by that much. The amount of lightning damage required to stun an opponent increases over the duration of a level; the first round of stun costs 4 lightning, next 10 lightning, then each subsequent stun another 10 (4, 10, 20, 30, 40).

Fire[]

Does N points of fire damage at the beginning of the turn, then decreases N by 10% (rounded up). If an attack deals 5 points of Fire damage, it'll deal 5 points next turn, reduce to 4, then do 4 points next turn etc. If an attack deals 154 points of Fire damage, it'll deal 154 points next turn, reduce to 138, then do 138 points next turn etc. until the effect reduces to zero.

Ice[]

Damage dealt is reduced by ice points, and ice points are reduced by 30% for every attack. So if you had 10 points of ice-damage, and did 50 points of damage, you'd do only 40 points of actual damage (-10 removed by your ice points), and ice points would be reduced to 7.

Poison[]

Poison damage is dealt only at the board shuffle (end of a 'round') and ignores shields.

Utility[]

Rage[]

Adds an additional +X points of damage to any subsequent attacks/hands(including combinations that would normally inflict no damage, such as Shield and more Rage). Whenever Rage triggers in this way, 10% of the bonus damage is dealt to its user. Rage is reduced by 10% (rounded up) at the end of each round, including the turn on which it is cast.

Regen[]

At the start of the turn, regenerate 10% of total HP. Continues for N turns

Shield[]

A barrier preventing attacks from hitting the user. Vulnerable to Pierce gems and useless against poison.

Other[]

Weak[]

Your attacks do -25% damage for the next N turns

Block[]

Blocks N% of damage received until end of combat.

Reflect[]

For the next N turns, reflect all damage back at dealer

Immune[]

Immunity against an element means that any attacks using that element will still deal their base damage, but the secondary effect is ignored completely.

Raging[]

Passively gain X Rage at the end of turn. Not available to the player character.
